The questions and hunches from the group work yesterday are extremely valuable, so I've added partial responses to them to the IQAP corpus page: http://compprag.christopherpotts.net/iqap.html#groups I used this as a chance to provide more illustrative code, highlighting iqap.py especially, since I think it is superior to R where analysis of language data is called for. Two of the questions stumped me: the one about cases where the answer entails the question radical, and the one about the role of tense mismatches (broadly construed).  Both seem really valuable, but I couldn't figure out how to test them fairly. If you see ways that my answer/code could be improved, please do let me know. All of these questions could be fleshed out into medium-sized projects. ---Chris
